Two page letter written to Caroline Young to congratulate her and Dr. Young on their fifty-second wedding anniversary and hopes that they will continue to live a blessed life. She writes that the "old Bible says Robert M. Young and Caroline E. Jones married October 12, 1826." Also, Waddy and Lilly Mae send their love to them both. She asks about Louisa and Pierce.

My Dear Sister
You see this is the anniversary of your wed=ding day. I write just a line to wish you & the Dr much happiness and continued good health many years to come. The old Bible says "Robert M Young and Caroline E Jones were married Oct. 12th 1826, fifty two years ago. Think of that, it is a life time and you have been blessed through all and in all these years. God be praised for the same and may He continue His mercies to the end of your lives. How are you both. I hope you have had no "Yellow fever" in your Co- but you must have been
seriously alarmed on ac=count of the proximity of that fearful disease. I never wished to see a frost so much in all my life and only hope that will stop it. I have been at home all this hot summer. We started on a little trip to the mountains but I was sick, and came home next day. Has Pierce returned home? We have heard nothing from you for a long time. Lilly May & Waddy unite with me in love to you & their uncle with best wishes for you both. Give our love to Louisa and let us hear from you.
