Ridgways Pottery teapot with lid. Teapot has a golden yellow glaze with a black line image, "The Village Cage at Lingfield." The illustrations were originally published in a book "Coaching Days and Coaching Ways" by Macmillan & Co. Ltd. in 1893. The illustrator was Hugh Thomson (1860-1920). The handle, around the lid, the knob on lid, and end of the spout are edged in silver.
China was originally owned by Corra Harris.
