a - This floral painting has a black frame that is plaster over wood with floral bouquets in the plaster molded at the top, bottom, and on each side. A decorative inner gilt ring accents the frame. The floral painting features a cream rose and a pink rose on a black background. (This painting is on display in museum's antebellum exhibit hanging over sofa).
b - This painting is in a brown wooden frame with carved ridges and a gilt inner band. The oval floral painting features light pink roses and other light colors flowers on a dark background. (Displayed on the mantle in antebellum exhibit.)
