Crazy quilt or marriage quilt with embroidered squares attached with decorative stitching. Quilt border is scalloped and embroidered 4" wide with a lavendar-colored muslin backing. Squares are with flowers, animals, birds, and scenes. Each panel is attached to the adjoining panels with different embroidery styles and colors.

One of the blocks is embroidered with the following: Charlie Culver and Mattie Campbell Married Dec. 18, 1895.
It is believed this was Jennie's brother and sister-in-law. Charlie was killed in a mining accident (flooded/caved in mine shaft) in March 1899. Mattie Campbell Culver died in 1912.
