Description A pottery butter churn with a deep golden color glaze. The churn has a loop handle on one side and a small lip handle on the opposite side. The churn was made by W.T. B. Gordy, the father of local potter, Bill Gordy. The churn is signed by the potter on the shoulder of the churn in front of the lip handle. Beneath the signature is the numeral "5" indicating this is a five gallon churn.
