Description A burgundy leather wallet from the Armstead Leake family collection. The wallet is actually thick paper (cardboard) with an outer leather covering. The wallet has a small notebook inside with paper covers of blue paper. The notepapers are thick. The notepad is in the center with cardboard dividers on each side of the pad. The latch for the wallet is leather over paper also and wraps around to tuck into a leather loop on the back of the wallet.

The front page of the wallet is the only one with writing on it. It lists "Ferguson (?)", Sugar 10lb., Coffee 2 lb."

Wallet and notepad appear to have been wet at one time.
